This two part event begins with an all levels yoga flow taught by Allison Egan Datwani with singer and musician Nina Rao accompanying the class with sublime music and chanting. Allison will mindfully move you through a variety of lunges, hip openers and backbends, ultimately leading to the experience of Hanumanasana (split pose). After the asana portion of the event, Nina will give a brief talk about Hanuman, the Monkey God, and lead the chanting of the Hanuman Chalisa, a devotional song based on the story of Lord Hanuman followed by call and response mantra chanting.
