Rishikesh, India: Sacred Music for Sacred Forests Concert

  • Anand Prakash Ashram 48JG+HFM, Badrinath Marg, near SBI bank, Tapovan, Rishikesh, Uttarakhand 249192, India (map)

Join us for an evening of kirtan with Nina Rao to raise awareness and funds for saving wild tigers and their habitats across India - the Land of the Tiger.

India is the last viable habitat for wild tigers and one of the most bio-diverse regions in Eurasia. Protecting this ecosystem means safeguarding not just tigers, but also elephants, langurs, deer, birds, rivers, plants, and the sacred balance of nature itself.

This concert is a celebration of India’s living tradition of honoring wildlife as sacred embodiments of Mother Earth. Through intentional prayer, chanting, and community, let us come together to protect nature and give thanks.

About Nina Rao & Saving Wild Tigers

Nina Rao is a devoted singer whose voice carries a deep reverence for the Earth. Through SavingWildTigers.org, she has tirelessly championed India's wild tigers since 1998. Guided by the country’s leading conservationists, her work bridges sacred chanting with vital, on-the-ground action to protect these magnificent animals and their forest homes.

About Go Dharmic

Go Dharmic is a global movement rooted in universal love and compassion in action. Our environmental mission, the Dharma Forest, focuses on large-scale rewilding and ecosystem restoration. By planting vital mangroves in the Sunderbans, we are actively reviving natural habitats, protecting endangered wildlife, and empowering coastal communities to thrive alongside nature.

Where Your Funds Go

Every contribution from this concert will directly support a shared vision between Go Dharmic and Saving Wild Tigers (SavingWildTigers.org). Your participation will fund high-impact, on-the-ground environmental and wildlife protection projects, including:

  • The Dharma Forest (Sunderbans): Fueling Go Dharmic’s massive rewilding initiative to plant mangroves, which shield coastal communities from cyclones and combat climate change.

  • Tiger Conservation & Community Safety: Funding grassroots efforts to reduce human-tiger conflict through awareness, eco-barriers, and safe habitat protection.

  • Empowering Local Communities: Creating sustainable, eco-friendly livelihoods for women in vulnerable coastal regions.

With Deepest Gratitude

We extend our profound thanks to the Anand Prakash Ashram for graciously offering their space and supporting the logistics of this gathering.
