Lopön Chandra opens with an introduction to Tara — her history, her twenty-one emanations, and her meditation practice — offering a living context for the mantras you are about to chant. Each of the three will then share and lead their own compositions from the album, guiding participants through chanting together while offering the stories and teachings behind each Tara's mantra and melody

Los Angeles, CA: EnChanting Evening with Nina and Arjun

Join Nina and Arjun for musical evening of chanting the divine names in community call-and-response. Arjun will treat us to his meditative sound journey as well.

About Nina:
Nina Rao first learned sacred chants as a young girl from her grandfather in south India, and the chants stayed quietly with her until she rediscovered this powerful practice with Krishna Das in New York in 1996. Since then she has been KD’s business manager and accompanies him musically. In 1998 she met her guru, Sri Siddhi Ma, in the foothills of the Himalayas and spent time with her regularly for 19 years, while Ma was in the body.

Nina has been chanting regularly as her main practice, has recorded albums that are widely streamed and played around the world, leads chant events, studies and shares Veda chanting and, spiritual texts, is a hospice volunteer, is a podcast host for Be Here Now Network, goes on yatra/pilgrimage, and is a wildlife conservationist as chairperson for Saving Wild Tigers. Her albums include Antarayaami, Anubhav, 21 Taras Collective Mantra Mala Vol 1, and her third solo album to be released summer 2026. NinaRaoChant.com

About Arjun:
Arjun Bruggeman has accompanied Krishna Das on tabla, will share his ‘rhythmic sound and mantra’ journey – an immersive sound journey through the primal power of percussive instruments—frame drum, tabla, kalimba and hang drum. ArjunSpace.com

The Love Serve Remember Foundation is grateful to be hosting the 2026 Ram Dass Legacy “Summer Mountain Retreat” V once again in Boone, North Carolina, at The Art of Living Retreat Center from Thursday, August 27, to early morning Monday, August 31, with Krishna Das & Friends.

Together, we celebrate this 5th consecutive year of "retreating" to these "August Gatherings" in the Appalachians that provide a sacred container enveloped in wisdom, compassion, peace, love, and joy.

Whether you seek spiritual insight, refuge, or simply a break from the weight of the world, this gathering offers a natural environment to breathe fresh mountain air, to heal, to nourish, and to remember the inner freedom that is always within our reach.

Where Devotion Meets Awareness at the Intersection of Bhakti & Buddhism This remote retreat is a unique opportunity for anyone interested in the Bhakti and Buddhist traditions and their confluences of two Eastern modalities that offer a practical path one can pursue in order to become liberated in this lifetime.

We hope to see you there!

NIGHT OF KIRTAN, BHAKTI AND COMMUNITY

A gathering of devotional singing, prayer, and opening of the heart

The community of Mexico is lovingly invited to a very special Kirtan Night, a gathering of devotional singing, prayer and opening of the heart , inspired by the eternal teachings of Neem Karoli Baba (Maharaji) , who reminded us with simplicity and depth: “Love everyone, serve everyone and remember God.”

About the Event: On this sacred evening, we gather to sing, dissolve the barriers of the ego, and return together to the space of unconditional love. Kirtan is not a concert: it is a collective offering, a living meditation where every voice matters and every heart is welcome.

We will sing alongside Nina Rao, one of the most renowned voices in contemporary Kirtan internationally. A direct disciple of the Bhakti tradition passed down by Maharaji and many others. Nina shares singing as a path to healing, surrender, and remembrance of the Self. Her music is born from silence, practice, and love, and has accompanied thousands of people around the world on their spiritual journey. The night is an invitation to:

  • Remember who we are

  • Singing beyond the mind

  • Feeling supported by the Sangha

  • Let your heart guide the way

You don't need any prior experience, just bring your presence, your voice as it is, and the desire to sing together.
